Over six immersive days, this beginner-friendly rock climbing course teaches you everything from essential knots and belaying to rappelling and route reading—all on natural outdoor crags near Sethan Village at 2,600 meters. 🚐 Transfer: Manali to Sethan
Arrive in Sethan Village, settle in, meet instructors, and review safety protocols. Get introduced to your climbing gear and learn the principles of outdoor climbing ethics.
Learn to fit and use harnesses, helmets, carabiners, and belay devices. Practice basic knots and try your first top-rope climbs on easy boulders.
Focus on climbing movement—footwork, grip styles, and balance drills. Learn to belay your partner using proper commands and techniques with supervision.
Understand how top-rope anchors work. Learn to build basic anchor setups and safely rappel down rock faces using correct form and checks.
Trek to natural climbing sites in the Hamta region. Top-rope on real rock, apply route planning skills, and get feedback through mock climbing assessments.
Climb one final route using everything you’ve learned. Practice belaying and rappelling, reflect on your growth, and receive a completion certificate before departure.

Mobile coverage is limited and unreliable in Sethan.
Nutritious vegetarian meals (dal, rice, pasta, eggs, soup). Non-veg (like tuna/chicken) may be served occasionally. Let us know in advance for dietary needs (Jain, gluten-free, etc.).
