Day 1Arrival & Orientation

🏔️ Elevation: 2,600 m (8,530 ft)

🚐 Transfer: Manali to Sethan

Arrive in Sethan Village, settle in, meet instructors, and review safety protocols. Get introduced to your climbing gear and learn the principles of outdoor climbing ethics.

Day 2Gear Handling & Basic Skills

Learn to fit and use harnesses, helmets, carabiners, and belay devices. Practice basic knots and try your first top-rope climbs on easy boulders.

Day 3 Movement & Belaying Techniques

Focus on climbing movement—footwork, grip styles, and balance drills. Learn to belay your partner using proper commands and techniques with supervision.

Day 4Anchors & Rappelling

Understand how top-rope anchors work. Learn to build basic anchor setups and safely rappel down rock faces using correct form and checks.

Day 5 Outdoor Rock Climbing Routes

Trek to natural climbing sites in the Hamta region. Top-rope on real rock, apply route planning skills, and get feedback through mock climbing assessments.

Day 6Final Climb & Certification

Climb one final route using everything you’ve learned. Practice belaying and rappelling, reflect on your growth, and receive a completion certificate before departure.

High-Altitude Protocol

Above 4500 meters: A portable hypobaric chamber is always carried for emergency altitude management.

 

Cancellation Policy

  • More than 30 days before your trip: 90% refund

  • 15–30 days before: 50% refund

  • 7–14 days before: 25% refund

  • Less than 7 days or no-show: No refund

Mobile coverage is limited and unreliable in Sethan.

What food is provided?

Nutritious vegetarian meals (dal, rice, pasta, eggs, soup). Non-veg (like tuna/chicken) may be served occasionally. Let us know in advance for dietary needs (Jain, gluten-free, etc.).

Is altitude sickness a concern in Sethan?

Unlikely. Sethan is at 2,600 m, generally safe with proper hydration.
