It is a challenging environment when biking over high passes between Manali and Leh, the highest pass we will cross will be Khardung La at an altitude of 5540 m (18,175 ft.). Beginning our tour in Manali, we will proceed through the Kullu Valley passing many villages (Khoskar, Gondla, Jispa and Bharatpur) before reaching the vast plateau of Sarchu, accompanied by the Tserap River. Guests will be received at the airport followed by a transfer to a hotel, where you will be staying overnight.

Travelling Time: 16 hours (14 hours by jeep)

Early morning 5 am Check out, you will have some breakfast on the way. We will be passing through most fertile states of North India (Haryana – Punjab). In the afternoon, we will have a lunch stop while entering in Himachal Pradesh. It is a mountainous state of India, By evening reach Manali, with an overnight stay in a hotel.
After breakfast, each individual will be provided with a mountain bike, for you to explore Manali and its surrounding with a local guide. You will be visiting Naggar Castle, Roerich Art Gallery, Hindu temples and the hot springs of Vashisht, which will provide revitalising feelings. Overnight stay in a hotel.

The first day of your mountain biking expedition, begins with an uphill ride along a curved road passing though villages and forests.

Altitude: 3160 m / 10,367 ft. (Over Rohtang Pass 3950 m / 12,959 ft.)
With a 13 km uphill ride until you reach the Rohtang Pass, you will experience a spectacular view of snow-caped mountains of Himalaya. You will then descend to Gramphu, to the passport control at Khoskar; first village of the tribal district of Lahaul and Spiti. The road then becomes easy to Gondla. Overnight stay in a camp.

Altitude: 3400 m / 11,154 ft.
On the way to Jispa, we will visit Keylong district headquarters of the tribal district. The majority of the time will be riding along flat and scenic roads. Overnight stay in camp.
Travelling Distance: 55 km
Altitude: 4400 m / 14,435 ft. (Over Baralacha La 4800 m / 15,748 ft.)
It will be a gradual uphill ride for about 32 km until you reach Baralacha La. It is then a long descent until you reach the beautiful campsite.
Travelling Distance: 65 km
Altitude: 3590 m / 11,778 ft.
The road will lead you across a vast plateau of Sarchu – border of two states of Jammu – Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh – late you will be accompanied by the Tserap River, until you reach camp.
Travelling Distance: 44 km
Altitude: 4630 m / 15,190 ft.
The day will begin with a long ascent by a snake curved road until you reach the first pass (Namik La 4950 m / 16,240 ft.) followed by a short descent of 3 km. You will then need to go uphill 3 km to reach the second pass (Lachulang La 5090 m / 16,699 ft.) followed by a long descent to Pang, by the gorge of Ganglajal. We will be camping beside a stream before check post.
Travelling Distance: 54 km
Altitude: 4500 m / 14,763 ft.
It is a short easy climb for 5-7 km, where you can enjoy the magnificent view of Zara Chu stream, with the canyon erected on both sides in different shapes and mirages on the large Qyangchuthang (Wild Donkey ground). The rest of the day will be a flat ride along the Pang plateau until reach camp.
Travelling Distance: 48 km
Altitude: 4320 m / 14,173 ft.
For 23 km you will be making a gradual climb to the top of the world’s second highest motor able pass, Tanglang La (5332 m / 17,493 ft.) followed by a long descent to the Indus Valley. En route you will see a series of Chortens that will lead you to Rumtse; first willage of Ladakh. We will camp beside the stream on a meadow.
Travelling Distance: 90 km
Altitude: 3400 m / 11,154 ft.
It will be an easy ride through the Ladakhi Villages; en route visiting Shey and Thiksey monasteries. By afternoon will have reached in Leh – Capital of Ladakh. Overnight stay in hotel.
Travelling Distance: 39 km
Altitude: 5540 m / 18,175 ft.
The day will begin with a steep road, with half of the stretch rough. You will then reach on top of the highest road of the world, which has extensive views from the top as well as when you descend down to Leh.
You will be able to visit the Shanti Stupa, Old Fort of Leh and a monastery within the town. Afternoon will be spent packing up the mountain bikes, followed by a relaxing time at your leisure in hotel. Overnight stay.
You will be transferred to the domestic airport for your flight to Delhi. Once reached in Delhi you will then be transported to your hotel where you will be staying overnight. The afternoon can be spent at your own leisure.
You will be given the opportunity to have a full day of sightseeing, before being transferred to the Indira Gandhi International Airport where you will depart to your onward destination.
