Morning: Preparation & Drive to Solang Valley

Meet your Into Wild Himalaya guide and fellow adventurers at 6:30 AM in Manali.
After a quick breakfast and safety briefing, you’ll be fitted with your winter gear and microspikes.
A short, scenic 30-minute drive takes you to Solang Valley (2,650 m) the starting point of your winter hike.
As the morning sun touches the peaks, your ascent begins through snow-covered pine and oak forests, where the crisp mountain air sets the tone for the day ahead.

Midday: The Ascent to Patalsu Peak

As the trail climbs higher, you’ll move into open alpine meadows overlooking the Beas Valley.
The gradient steepens, and the snow deepens this is where the real challenge begins.
Your guides will lead you safely through snow laden ridges and demonstrate winter mountaineering techniques along the way.
Take short breaks to hydrate and capture the stunning views of Hanuman Tibba, Shitidhar, and Friendship Peak dominating the skyline.

Afternoon: Summit & Lunch at 4,200 m
