Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Delhi

Guests will be received at the airport followed by a transfer to a hotel, where you will be staying overnight.

Day 2Overnight bus journey Delhi – Manali

Travelling Distance: 570 km
Travelling Time: 16 hours
Following a full day’s sightseeing in the vibrant Delhi City, we will then transfer you to the bus station. Overnight bus journey, fully air conditioned and comfortable to make the journey more relaxing.

Day 3Arrival in Manali

Upon arrival in Manali, we will check you into your hotel and let you freshen up and relax. In the evening we will take a walk around the area to ensure you acclimatise and will check out the equipment. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 4Drive from Manali - Solang Nallah then trek to Dhundi

Travelling Distance: 13 km drive / 6 km trek
Altitude: 2840 m
After breakfast in the morning we will drive 13 km to reach in Solang Nallah; an adventure area for activities such as paragliding and skiing. We will then trek 6 km to reach in Dhundi. Upon arrival in Dhundi we will enjoy tea and snacks and get ready for overnight stay in tent.

Day 5Trek from Dhundi - Bakarthach - Beas Kund

Altitude: 3540 m
The day will be spent trekking through the valley until we reach Bakarthach. Upon arrival we will take a break then trek over a moraine to a small lake in Beas Kund, the birth place of the River Beas. Here you will be able to see the base of all the surrounding peaks such as Ladakhi (5536 m), Friendship (5340 m) and (Hanuman Tibba (5940 m). Overnight stay in tents.

Day 6 & 7Beas Kund Glacier - Expedition Training Techniques

Two days will be spent practicing ascending and descending techniques on the snow at Beas Kund glacier as well as practicing rescue technique such as z-pulley & c-pulley. For lunch will return to camp and enjoy an overnight stay in tents.

Day 8Trek from Beas Kund - Base Camp

Altitude: 4700 m
After breakfast we will begin the days trek ascending to base camp where we will enjoy a packed lunch. In the evening we will have tea and snacks and take a walk around the area to ensure everyone is acclimatised. We will return back to base camp for an early dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 9Trek from Base Camp - Summit of Ladakhi Peak - Base Camp

Climbing Time: Approx. 3 hours
Altitude: 5536 m
After breakfast we will begin our climb to Shetidhar peak which will take around 30 minutes then to Ladakhi peak which will take around 2 hours. Ropes will be fixed and we will ascend through these. Rock climbing will also occur. You will be able to witness the panoramic views of Dhauladhar and Pirpanjal Range. Once we have summited Ladakhi Peak, we will descend back to base camp. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 10Trek from Base Camp - Beas Kund

Once we have had breakfast we will start our trek to Beas Kund. Upon arrival we will have lunch and come evening time we will celebrate around a bonfire and enjoy an overnight stay in tents.

Day 11Trek from Beas Kund - Solang Valley - Drive to Manali

After breakfast we will trek to Solang Valley where we will then be driven back to Manali. In the evening you will be able to enjoy free time of shopping around Manali. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 12Overnight bus journey Manali - New Delhi

Travelling Distance: 570 km
Travelling Time: 16 hours
Morning will be spent looking around Manali before being transferred to AC Volvo bus for overnight journey back to New Delhi.

Day 13Flight Departure: New Delhi

You will be transferred to the Indira Gandhi International Airport where you will depart to your onward destination.
