The Nepal to Tibet Motorcycle Tour is a guided ride for global adventure riders. People from the USA, UK, Europe and Australia join this tour each year. It offers a mix of culture, mountains and quiet Himalayan landscapes.
You ride a Royal Enfield through open roads, calm valleys and high terrain. The journey connects Nepal and Tibet and passes through small towns and peaceful mountain areas. Each day brings new views and an easy riding pace.
The tour includes full support. You travel with a road captain, a support vehicle and a mechanic. The team helps with safety, comfort and altitude planning. This makes the tour suitable for new riders and for riders with global experience.
Most riders fly into Kathmandu International Airport before the tour. We offer prices in INR, USD, EUR, GBP and AUD to support guests from many regions.

The Nepal to Tibet Motorcycle Tour is a once-in-a-lifetime cross-border Himalayan expedition operated by Into Wild Himalaya Expeditions, connecting Kathmandu (Nepal) to Lhasa (Tibet, China). This guided tour takes riders through the world’s highest roads, combining adventure, culture, and spiritual discovery across the Himalayas.
This expedition is rated advanced due to long riding days, high-altitude terrain (up to 5,300 m), and international border formalities. Riders must have 2+ years of experience on 350–450 cc motorcycles and be comfortable riding in both on-road and off-road conditions.
Participants ride Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 cc / 450 cc motorcycles, specially prepared for altitude and endurance. A backup 4×4 support vehicle follows the group with luggage, tools, oxygen, spare parts, and a certified mechanic. Local guides and bilingual coordinators assist in both Nepal and Tibet.

Yes. Tibet requires a Tibet Travel Permit and a group visa, both handled by Into Wild Himalaya Expeditions in coordination with local partners. Riders must enter Tibet as part of an organized group independent travel is not permitted.
May to September is the best riding window. During these months, the Himalayan passes are open, weather is stable, and visibility for Mt. Everest and the Tibetan Plateau is excellent.
