Experience the excitement of outdoor rock climbing in Manali India with our guided beginner-friendly climbing session. This activity takes place at the natural rock walls near Aleo, offering beautiful mountain views and a safe, learning-based environment. Instead of climbing indoors, participants enjoy real rock, real movement and the rewarding feeling of being outdoors in the Himalayas.
During the session, you will learn the basics of climbing movement, balance and safety techniques. In addition, our certified instructors demonstrate belaying, communication signals and climbing etiquette before you begin. All equipment is included, so you only need to arrive ready to learn and have fun.
Whether you are trying rock climbing for the first time or looking to improve your skills, this guided experience is designed to be safe, supportive and enjoyable. Our team focuses on confidence-building and clear instruction, and as a result, most participants finish the session feeling proud, capable and inspired to explore more climbing in the Himalayas.

Meet your climbing guides in Manali before a short drive to the natural rock cliffs of Aleo, one of the region’s most established outdoor climbing venues. After a welcome briefing, equipment fitting and safety checks, your guides introduce the day’s climbing plan before heading onto the rock.
Spend the day climbing a variety of carefully selected natural routes suited to your experience and confidence level. Throughout the session, your certified instructors manage all technical safety systems while providing practical guidance to help you climb efficiently and safely. Between climbs, relax, enjoy the mountain surroundings and watch fellow climbers tackle different routes as your guides share insights into outdoor climbing techniques and Himalayan climbing culture.
Pause for a packed lunch and refreshments in a scenic outdoor setting overlooking the Beas Valley before continuing with the afternoon climbing session.
Continue exploring different climbing routes with opportunities to challenge yourself on a range of natural rock faces. Depending on the group’s ability and conditions, your guides will select suitable climbs that provide an enjoyable balance of adventure, movement and achievement while maintaining the highest safety standards.
After completing the day’s climbing, return to the base area for refreshments, a group photograph and a short debrief with your guides before driving back to Manali, bringing an unforgettable day of outdoor rock climbing in the Indian Himalayas to a close.
